Web Client: UTN/UTNP swap
In the Web Client, you can swap your UTN and UTNP tokens. Note that at the moment, this feature is available in the beta version (3.x) of Web Client only; and due to being under extensive test, each swap operation may be limited in amount (though you are not limited at all in the number of swap requests).
Swapping UTN to UTNP
When you open the client, at the main page (displaying the contracts you have) you have the “Exchange” section (normally, on the right side of the screen). Click on the “UTN to UTNP” option there.
To proceed, you actually must have non-zero balance of UTNs in your web client (otherwise you’ll get a error when you attempt to execute the swap). If everything is ok, you’ll see the form where you enter the amount of UTNP you want to receive, and the Ethereum address where you want to receive them.
Note that you must also have non-zero balance of U so you will be able to register the Universa transaction!
In the swap form, the UTNP amount has its minimum and maximum limits. Note: during the beta test, the maximum amount of UTNPs to swap in a single attempt is limited to 10 000 (you don’t have any limits in the number of attempts, though).
After you press “Exchange” button, the swap will be executed. The requested amount will be taken from your UTN balance, and in some time the appropriate Ethereum transaction will be registered that sends the according amount of UTNP tokens to the Ethereum address you have requested.
Swapping UTNP to UTN
When you open the client, at the main page (displaying the contracts you have) you have the “Exchange” section (normally, on the right side of the screen). Click on the “UTNP to UTN” option there.
In the “UTN amount” field, specify how many UTNs do you want to receive after swapping. Note that some commission will be taken to counter the Ethereum network fees; the commission is fixed no matter of the token amount you want to convert.
As you edit the “UTN amount” field, the hint tells you how many UTNP tokens you must have prepared (considering the commission fees).
When you press “Process to checkout” button, you will see the Ethereum address generated just for you. You must send the requested amount (considering the commission fees) of UTNP tokens to this address. Please wait a while for the tokens to get registered in the Ethereum network; after sufficient amount of network confirmations, this will be registered by the Universa exchange, and your UTN tokens will become available to you.
